this month, we will explore the captivating and innovative works of jean-michel basquiat. we will celebrate basquiat’s unique fusion of street art and fine art through invitations to create art, sensory play, loose parts play, and collaborative process art, exploring how he transformed the boundaries of contemporary art! children will have the opportunity to experiment with bold colors and expressive forms, channeling basquiat’s raw energy and expression. as we delve into his artistic style, we will invite little ones to create vibrant, layered artworks that reflect their own approach to creativity, just as basquiat did in his groundbreaking pieces.
